Giving to MPHA Letter from the Director of Development One only has to walk through the halls of Manlius Pebble Hill to appreciate the powerful impact this school has on the young people who benefit from an MPH education. In the Barn, there are student musicians playing a little John Coltrane in a "jam session" with our instrumental teacher. Sneaking through the theater, you might find a student directing young dancers for the student choreography concert. Walking through the halls of McNeil, there is a huddle of students working on how to deploy a parachute for the rocket team. In a classroom, students posing as federalists or anti-federalists are debating the ratification of the constitution. On the lower athletic field, Upper Schoolers are running drills in preparation for a girls lacrosse game. These students are pursuing their passions, challenging themselves and each other, exploring the world around them. MPH has created a very unique environment, the strength of which is due in part to support from a caring community of parents, alumni, and friends. Donations to the Annual Giving Campaign support for building renovations, gifts of volunteer expertise, and estate gifts providing for scholarships all afford a strong foundation for the vitality of the school today and tomorrow. Throughout this section of the website, you will find many ways of supporting MPH. We hope you'll take time to consider how you and your family might get involved in the life of our school. At any point, please don't hesitate to call me at 315/446-2452, ext. 112 if you would like to further discuss charitable support of the school. Whatever way you choose to get involved, please know that we very much appreciate your support. There is no better investment we can make than an investment in our young people. Tina Morgan |
