Grace R. Kniesner Extended Day ProgramThe ProgramAt MPH we feel that families are important. We also recognize that all families are different with varying schedules, lifestyles, and demands. Grace R. Kniesner Extended Day Program is an after school program for children in Grades Pre-K through 5. The program runs only on regular school days from 3:10 - 5:30 pm when MPH is in session and not on school vacation days, snow days, or conference days. Dusty and Sylvia Heer and Sylvie Terry, Lower School Assistants, direct this program. They are assisted by others chosen for their ability to relate to young children and their creativity. Experience proves that outdoor play is what children want and need most and this takes place whenever weather permits. Plenty of alternative activities are offered, such as reading or games in a "quiet room" and art projects. Activities are voluntary. Features and DetailsThe Grace R.
