MPH Lower School Extended Day and Middle School After- Hours

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 3:10-6:30 p.m. and Friday 3:10-5:30 p.m.

(new hours are dependent upon enrollment and therefore subject to change)

Students will be allowed to enjoy free play or engage in more structured activities and homework time.

The Grace R. Knieser Extended Day Program  for Grades Pre-K – 5 begins September 8, 2015 in the Laurie Mezzalingua '86 Center for Early Learning. The program runs on regular school days when MPH is in session and not on school vacation days, snow days or conference days. MPH staff directs the program, sometimes assisted by others chosen for their ability to relate to young children and for their creativity. Students are given the opportunity to have fun while enjoying learning experiences in art, music, literature, language, history, geography, science, and nature study. Time is allotted for homework, snack, and playground activities. Electronic devices are not permitted. Pricing is listed below:

Annual Pricing for Extended Day

1 Day per Week                                  $850   

2 Days per Week                                 $1,200

3 Days per Week                                 $1,485

4 Days per Week                                 $1,850

5 Days per Week                                 $2,150

Drop- In Fee                                       $15/hour 

**Late pick-up penalty fee of $5 per each 5 minutes after 6:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 5:30 p.m. on Fridays 

A boxed dinner will be provided at 5:30 p.m. for an additional $6.00 per meal, per day.

Middle School After- Hours for Grades 6-8 begins September 8, 2015 and will be held in the Farmhouse Classroom from 3:10-5:30 p.m. Middle School Students are required to be supervised at all times while on campus. Students not picked up within 15 minutes after the end of a practice or a club meeting will be sent to After Hours and charged the drop-in fee. Our program provides an integration of fun and academics. Students will have the opportunity to visit with teachers, play basketball, or go out on the playground. Because two staff people are assigned to the program, one staff person is always available to monitor any outdoor activities. Electronic devices are permitted. Pricing is listed below.

Drop-In Fee                                        $15/hour
