MPHMUN 2006
About MPHMUN In early January of 1999 the Model United Nations advisor at Manlius Pebble Hill conferred with the advisors from several other schools who expressed their interest for a local, single-day conference in the early debate season. With support from the school administration and through the hard work of the students and staff of Manlius Pebble Hill, the first annual MPHMUN Conference took place in the fall of that year. Since then, MPHMUN students and faculty have sought to improve the
quality of the conference and its level of debate in addition to increasing
conference size. We have, by and large, received admirable debate
in the past from delegates who are willing to try themselves in a
new experimental and intellectual manner. This year, the emphasis
will once more be on specific debate topics that will challenge delegates
to conduct in-depth research and create thorough solutions. We ensure
that the delegates' time will be well spent at MPHMUN 2006.
