Calendar spotlight: Sharpen your creative writing skills in this spring course

When you were in high school, did you write poems or short stories and dream of becoming a professional writer?

Have you always wanted to hone your skills? Well, now’s your chance.

Manlius Pebble Hill School is offering an adult education course in creative writing. The four-week workshop will be taught by Maggie Nerz Irbarne, of DeWitt, a writer and English teacher with advanced degrees in both education and English.

The workshop will offer inspiration for writing, the opportunity to share work with a supportive community of writers, and the chance to both and give receive valuable feedback.

The workshop will meet on the MPH campus in DeWitt from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays, April 2, 9, 16, and 30. The fee is $75. Register online at mph.net/community-programs/adult-education or call 446-2452.
