Scrapbook: Alumni Lodge Open HouseOn October 17, almost 40 alumni and friends gathered to celebrate the Kreitzberg Family Alumni Lodge’s new look. Thanks to the vision and generosity of two alumni, Fred Benedict ’58A and Had Fuller ’66A, alumni, parents, students, faculty, and friends have a new place to congregate. Modeled after the warmth of The Manlius School’s Phoenix Tavern, the Alumni Lodge has become a welcoming place to browse through the School’s extensive collection of memorabilia. Fred has restored some of the original Stickley furniture from The Manlius School and supplemented the look with additional pieces from his own collection. Had helped to complete the décor with his donation of beautifully restored Knox Hall benches. The Kreitzberg Family Alumni Lodge is truly a place where our heritage is celebrated and alumni are always welcome to stop for a visit.
