Scrapbook: Alumni Holiday Gathering 2006

ALUMNI HOLIDAY GATHERING

Over 80 alumni, faculty, and friends gathered at The Mission Restaurant on Monday, January 2, 2006 for the 15th annual Alumni Holiday Gathering. Alumni from the classes of 2002 to 2005, many enjoying their extended break from college, made up half the population of attendees. This group in particular enjoyed catching up with each other and their former teachers. Since it was the night before MPH classes resumed, many teachers and administrators made a special effort to join the party. Before the event concluded Head of School Baxter Ball and president of the Alumni Association, Russ Andrews '64, thanked everyone for coming and encouraged everyone to continue their support of the alumni program and school. Russ also presented Katie Swimm '02 with a door prize, two tickets to the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra that were donated by Baxter Ball. A special thank you goes to Steve Morrison, the owner of The Mission Restaurant, and the event co-chairs, Sarah de Jong '03, Mark Hayes '02, Katie Swimm '02, and Courtney Stewart '05.
