CLAMBAKE WEEKEND 2009

Plan on attending The 2009 Clambake Weekend on June 12-13, chaired by Claire Myers Usiatynski '72.

Friday, June 12

  • Clambake Golf Outing, 10:00 a.m. at Green Lakes State Park.
  • The Manlius School BBQ, 5:00 p.m. under the tent at The Kreitzberg Family Alumni Lodge. 
  • Pebble Hill School Dinner, 6:00 p.m. in the McNeil Lobby.
  • Manlius Pebble Hill Gathering, 9:00 p.m. at the Syracuse Suds Factory.
  • Individual reunion parties in the evening, including the 70s Party (Classes of 1971-1975).

Saturday, June 13

  • Verbeck Memorial Service,10 a.m. on The Manlius School Campus.
  • Conversation with The Head of School,11:00 a.m.
  • The Clambake,12 noon on the Manlius Pebble Hill School campus.
  • Dedication of the Korean and Vietnam War Memorial, 12:30 p.m. under the flagpole on the MPH campus.
  • The Manlius School Reunion Dinner 6:30 p.m. in the Dining Hall on the MPH campus.
  • Manlius Pebble Hill Alumni Party, 8 p.m. under the tent; featurIng the MPH Faculty Band, "Old School."

CLAMBAKE WEEKEND REUNION YEARS

The reunion chairs of graduation years ending in 4 or 9 have volunteered to contact as many of their classmates as possible to let them know what is planned for Clambake Weekend. It would help them a lot, though, if you would take the initiative and touch base with them. They’d be very pleased to hear from you!

THE KOREAN AND VIETNAM WAR MEMORIAL DEDICATION JUNE 13

The dedication of the Korean and Vietnam War Memorial for alumni KIA will be held on Saturday, June 13 at The Clambake at 12:30 p.m. under The Manlius Flagpole at MPH. John Ellis '67HQ, Bob Pratt '67HQ, and Jack Wells '60B are involved with planning for this event. If you would like to help, please contact John Ellis.

 

QUEEN MARY 2 ALUMNI CRUISE

Mark your calendars for September 4 - 8, 2009 (Labor Day weekend) to sail with friends and alumni of Manlius Pebble Hill School. The Queen Mary 2, called the world's grandest ocean liner, will sail from New York City to Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, departing on Friday, September 4 and returning on Tuesday, September 8. While participants will book directly with AAA, MPH will plan special events for alumni and friends to enjoy while cruising. Some of the special extras that will be available to our group include: a private cocktail party, a private art tour, high tea, $25 per person shipboard credit, and an MPH scavenger hunt. The cost, which includes gratuity, ranges from $922 - $1,250 per person (based on double occupancy). This is NOT a fundraiser! Book now with AAA or call 866/924-3827.
