2014 Athletic Hall of Fame

The 2014 Athletic Hall of Fame induction and dinner is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 2014.

The Athletic Hall of Fame chair and committee are looking forward to inducting the third class with another sell out in the MPH gymnasium.

We are extremely proud of the athletic legacy that originated at The Manlius School and Pebble Hill School and continues today at the Mnalius Pebble Hill School. MPH offers an extensive array of sports, including soccer, tennis, cross-country, swimming, volleyball, basketball, track, alpine skiing, golf, softball, and lacrosse. We are proud to honor the School’s enduring commitment to athletic excellence and student athletes by recognizing outstanding teams, coaches, and players who contributed to its strong sports legacy.

The John Lenore Legend Award – Honoring the School’s greatest athletic and life achievers. The award is named in honor of John Lenore ’47A, also a 2010 recipient. This lifetime achievement award is the pinnacle of Hall of Fame ceremony.

Manlius Pebble Hill School Athletic Hall of Fame Mission Statement

The Manlius Pebble Hill School Athletic Hall of Fame was established to honor alumni, coaches, and teams who have made exceptional contributions to the quality, tradition, and spirit of The Manlius School, Pebble Hill School, and MPH athletics.

Eligibility for alumni nominees begins with their fifth class reunion and for coaches begins after their tenure at our School. Posthumous nominations will be accepted, and all nominees will be considered by the Athletic Hall of Fame Committee, which is chaired by an alumni representative and includes a group of alumni, faculty, staff, and members of the Alumni Association Board.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is held every other year during Alumni Reunion Weekend. Previously submitted nominations may be renewed by simply by e-mailing, writing, or calling the Alumni Office. Only alumni and current/former faculty member may submit nominations.
