Upper School Supply List

Please note that this is a general supply list.  Additional items may be required for the upcoming school year and will be discussed during your New Student meeting.

 

  • USB Flash drive (at least 2 GB) – used for PowerPoint presentations, video projects, digital images and other technology related project.
  • Planner
  • Pens/Pencils
  • 3-ring binders  
  • 2-pocket folders 

 BY COURSE:

 

ENGLISH:

All English classes require a notebook or a section in a binder for notes and journal entries plus an additional folder for handouts. 

 

English 9:

  • Composition notebook for free writing, notes, and homework assignments; it will go back and forth between home and school.
  • Merriam-Webster or American Heritage Dictionary or Dictionary App: if choosing the app, MPH advises purchasing the paid version so students will not need wi-fi to access it.  

 

MATH:

All Math courses require a TI-84 Graphing Calculator, a 3-ring binder, paper, graph paper, pencils/pens, and colored pencils.

 

AP Calculus AB or BC:

  • TI-89 Calculator (required)


Geometry:

  • Compass
  • Protractor
  • Geometry AC students only:  three 2-pocket folders with tabs

 

 
SCIENCE:

AP Biology & AP Physics

• 1” Three-ring binder

• Notebook paper or spiral notebook for class notes

• Lab goggles

• Optional: Colored pencils – an 8 pack is sufficient

Biology

• 1” Three-ring binder

• 11 Tab dividers

• 1 subject spiral bound notebook or loose leaf notebook paper for notes

• Lab goggles

• Colored pencils: a small box with at least 8 colors


Genetics

• 1/2" Three-ring binder

• Notebook paper or spiral notebook for class notes


Chemistry

• 1” Three-ring binder

• 6 Tab dividers

• 1 subject spiral bound notebook or loose leaf notebook paper for written work

• Lab goggles

Optional: latex glove
