Welcome to Science Research Central!

  • Read the MS Science Fair Resources Handout (pdf)
  • The best place to begin research is the library catalog (Destiny). In the CATALOG try the WEBSITES TAB (upper right) or search only websites with WebPath Express.
  • The second best place to begin research is an encyclopedia like Groliers online. The New Book of Knowledge has a section on PROJECTS & EXPERIMENTS. Also try World Book Discover and Britannica for MS students. See Mrs. Morrison for help with these online databases.
  • This site from New Zealand has excellent science info
  • Try this librarian endorsed online site: sciencenews central (be sure to click on the game zone and scifair zone) and HowStuffWorks is also good.
